SCHEDULING

If you have a dermatological emergency, we will do our best to make sure that you are seen that day.

We make every effort to stay on schedule so that your waiting time is minimized. However, because our practice provides a variety of services, different circumstances may cause a longer wait time. Also, emergency cases can arise which could possibly cause delays. Your patience and understanding is appreciated if and when this does happen.

FIRST VISIT

Your first appointment will be comprised of a consultation in which an explanation of your diagnosis and treatment for such diagnosis will be explained. At times, treatment may be possible the same day as the consultation.

However, usually a more in depth combination of your medical history along with your treatment plan, will require an evaluation and a second appointment in order for us to provide you with the best care.

At your first arrival:

Please assist us by providing the following information:

  • Your referral slip and any X-rays if applicable.
  • A list of medications you are presently taking.
  • If you have medical insurance, please bring those insurance cards with you. This will save time and allow us to help you process your claims.

IMPORTANT: A parent or guardian must accompany all patients under 18 at the consultation visit

FINANCIAL POLICY

Patient Billing

For your convenience we accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover. We strive to provide you with the highest care at a reasonable cost, therefore payment is due at the time service is rendered. If you have questions regarding your account, please contact us at 315-786-1924. Many times, a simple telephone call can clear up any misunderstandings.

Please remember you are entirely responsible for all charging fees by this office, including all, if any that your insurance may not of covered.

Out of convenience, our office will send you a monthly statement. In most cases, insurance companies will respond within six weeks. Please contact our office if within this time frame you receive a statement that you believe does not correctly display your insurance payment. Any and all remaining balance after your insurance has paid, is your responsibility. Your timely payment is much appreciated.
